 It was 2018 when Anna Maria and Yuna met during a teacher-training course. They quickly found out that they had the same passion for teaching and shared the same views on methods.  Soon after they decided to partner up and open Be Global Hub to help people enjoy learning languages efficiently.

ANNA MARIA MERLETTI

I have an MA in Languages and Literature and during my university years I worked in a surgery and taught English at the same time. Before graduating I worked for a startup company, but it soon became clear that it wasn't my cup  of tea, I wanted to teach professionally. 

My first  experiences include some Licei (Italian secondary schools) and many business English classes for several language schools.

Driven by the will to improve and professionally grow I completed my CELTA certification, followed by the FTBE certification to teach Business English and afterwards I specialised in Language Coaching to focus even more on the learner. 

I am a creative trainer and coach, and passionate about what I do, I always look for something better and new to learn and to offer to my clients. I know how difficult it can be to balance work and personal life, that's why flexibility is one of my favourite words.

YUNA NORDVIK

Co-Founder, CELTA-Qualified English Language Teacher

I am half-Dutch and half-Belgian, born in Switzerland but living in Italy, with Swedish and French roots: a true European citizen!

I have always  seen the English language as the key to communicating and of opening up new opportunities. In fact, I have not learnt English the traditional way, by using books in school, but in a much more natural way: by reading, watching TV series and travelling. With a passion for the English language and the American culture I began teaching it.

After  a few years of teaching younger learners I decided to get certified as a professional English teacher by getting a CELTA certification. Nowadays, I mainly work with professionals and companies to offer them a personalized service targeting their needs.

I am dedicated to combining traditional and innovative methods to motivate my students to learn the English language, increase vocabulary, fluency and cultural understanding by creating an enjoyable, inviting and dynamic learning atmosphere.
